Hilltop Oz Zion
Oz Zion is a growing hilltop community near Bet El in the heart of Samaria, home to around 30 young families, most under the age of 30, with new homes continually being built. Its location just off Route 60 (Kvish 60) provides convenient access to Jerusalem and other parts of Israel while offering breathtaking views of the surrounding biblical landscape. Visitors can experience a close-knit community, peaceful surroundings, and a firsthand look at life in one of Samaria’s developing hilltop communities.
Yitzhar
Yitzhar is a thriving hilltop community in the heart of Samaria, home to about 400 families and surrounded by the givot (hilltops) overlooking the biblical landscape, with a deep connection to Yosef HaTzadik, whose traditional burial site is in nearby Shechem. The community is known for its vineyards, winery, flour mill, ancient winepresses, natural springs, and scenic hiking trails, offering visitors a unique blend of history, agriculture, and nature. Rooted in a strong love of the Land of Israel, Yitzhar emphasizes Torah, mitzvot, tzniut (modesty), and Chassidic values while fostering a close-knit, family-centered community.
