About Batsheva: Your Private Israel Tour Guide

Certified Israel Tour Guide | Geopolitics, Bible, Women & Hidden Gems

Israel isn't just a destination. It's a living, breathing story — and I'm here to tell it to you in a way that will change how you see the world.

My name is Batsheva, and I'm a certified Israeli tour guide specializing in private and custom tours across Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, the Galilee, the Dead Sea, the Negev, the Golan Heights, and Judea and Samaria (the Shomron). I guide individuals, families, bat mitzvah groups, political delegations, and Christian pilgrimage groups — in English, with depth, passion, and a perspective you won't get anywhere else.

"I don't just show you the stones. I show you what the stones mean — for your life, your faith, your identity, and the world we're living in right now."

My Story: From New Jersey to the Heart of the Land

After making aliyah from New Jersey and Denver, my deep conviction that the Land of Israel is not just history — it's destiny — led me here. Before becoming a full-time guide, Jewish communal leadership, PR, and education shaped everything I do, including teaching 12th grade girls in Passaic/Clifton, NJ.

Official tour guide certification at the University of Haifa — one of Israel's most rigorous programs — gave me the foundation. As am added onus, I hold a Myers-Briggs certification, meaning every tour is tailored to the people in front of me.

Today home is the Shomron, where I live with my husband David and our five children. This land isn't abstract to me. Walking it, living it, loving it — that comes through in every tour.

What Makes Touring with Batsheva Different

A Guide Who Connects Bible to Breaking News

Connecting the ancient text to the modern map — from Tanach to today's geopolitical realities — is my specialty. Whether you're a senator understanding the Green Line, a grandmother watching her granddaughter's bat mitzvah at the Kotel, or a Christian pilgrim tracing the patriarchs, every tour becomes personal and real.

Deeply Knowledgeable. Deeply Personal.

Tours at the Nova festival site, Sderot, City of David, Ammunition Hill, Tel Lachish, Shiloh, Acre Prison, Mount Tabor, the Jordan River, and hundreds more sites across the country form the backbone of my experience. Additionally, a background in kabbalistic thought and midrash gives tours a spiritual layer most guides simply can't offer.

Certified, Licensed, and Security-Conscious

For sensitive areas including Mearat Hamachpeila and Kever Rachel, bulletproof vehicle options are available. Furthermore, your safety and comfort are always the first priority.

A Woman on a Mission

After October 7, I personally visited the Nova festival site, the Sderot police station, and the Tekuma parking lot — 1,560 burnt and bullet-riddled cars. I processed the war publicly and continued guiding through it. My business was disrupted. And then it came back. Because Israel came back.

I am not a passive narrator of history. I am someone who lives this land's story in real time — and I want you to experience it that way too.
